CON.NEXO' FOR CHILDREN

Solidarity and social commitment are very important CON.NEXO' values.

Over the past years we have been committed to a system of remote adoptions for every new client.

At present CON.NEXO' has already adopted 40 children

WE INTEND TO KEEP ON ADOPTING A CHILD FOR EVERY NEW CLIENT !

To validate CON.NEXO's commitment we rely on Intervita association (http://www.intervita.it) and "Friends of Makoua's children and mums" (http://www.makoua.it).

INTERVITA
Long distance support

Intervita Onlus Association is a NGO (non governmental organization) for cooperation and development. It is non-confessional, non-party and independent, and present in Italy since 1999 through the Milan branch.

All people have the right to food, health assistance, education and to be given the possibility to improve their life conditions by participating in the material and intellectual development of their own country. To this purpose, Intervita carries out long term development plans in Asia, Africa, and Latin America: through long distance support they choose to intervene in areas with a high poverty index, where, acting simultaneously in different contexts (feeding, production, education, health) they are able to create a solid foundation for real and long-lasting development of the communities.

"Friends of Makoua's children and mums"
Project Hope

"Friends of Makoua's children and mums" helps cultural exchange with different African regions and builds solidarity bridges.

The organization was founded by sensitive Friar Arcangelo Zucchi, from Milanese Sant'Angelo monastery, who was tired of seeing so many children dying in the Congolese forest villages. He decided: “I'll knock on every Italians' doors to save these children”.

In 1996, the “Mariele Ventre” paediatric centre opens up at Makoua, in Brazzaville Congo. Later on the initiatives increase and involve other countries as well (centre African Republic, Rwanda, Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo, Bethlehem).

The purpose of “Project Hope” is to help children's maintenance, cultural and health education. For older children focus is put on training programs, both scholastic and manual labour oriented.
